Indian Princely State Kurundwad Junior :--
Kurundwad State was founded in 1733 by Meherban Raja Trimbakrao I, It was formerly kolhapur Residency and Southern Maratha Country States Agency, Now In Maharashtra. Area of State was 295 KM2, and population of State was 39,583 in 1931, Privy purse of State on the time of accession (8 th March1948) was Rs. 49,720.
