Indian Princely State Balasinor Fiscal Court fee and Revenue Stamps

Balasinor State is formerly Rewa Kantha Agency (Bombay) merged in Bombay Province, now in Gujarat State, area of State was 490 KM2, and population of State was 32,618 in 1901, Privy purse of State on the time of accession (10Th June.1948 ) was Rs.68,000.

Type- 3A,Type-3 redrawn, New portrait of ruler with new turban, issued in 1942, size 75x37mm. Perf. 12, Surfaced wove paper.
2 Annas, red
Type- 5, issued in 1947-48, size 82x37mm. Perf. 11, Surfaced wove paper.
2 Annas, green
Revenue stamp :--
Type-11, issued in 1934-40(?), size 25x31mm. perf 12. Wove paper.
1 Anna, pale brown.
Type-12, issued in 1930-35, size 31x37mm. Perf.11. Surfaced wove paper
1 Anna, chocolate
Type-13, used in 1930-35, Court fee Type-2 converted to Non Judicial use by hand with the Gujati words "Court fee" in the top panel struck out, the stamp vendor's initials and new serial number added.

Type-14, issued in 1945-46, size 25x31mm. Perf.11. Wove paper.

The earlier stamps bear the photograph of HH Nawab Shri Jamiyatkhanji Babi of Balasinor. The Last photo is that of his son, Nawab Mohammed Salabatkhan Babi who is at present there.
