KERALA STATE FISCAL STAMPS
Kerala State, was formed On 1 November 1956, as Travancore-Cochin was joined with Malabar District of Madras State to form the new state of Kerala. Travancore and Cochin were merged on 1 July 1949, earlier these states used to be seperate states. Kerala State is located on the southwestern Malabar Coast of India. Apart from Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim and Madhya Bharat (M.P.), Kerala has also issued its own stamps, and there is no proper catalogue for the stamps issued by above 4 states, hence it cause difficulty in study of these States stamps.
