Samthar state Formerly Central India (Bundelkhand ) Agency, now in Madhya Pradesh State , area of state was 461 square KM ( 90 villages ) ,and population of state was 33,472 in 1901.Privy purse of state on the time of accession (1st January1950 ) was Rs.51,800.
