Mewar state Court fee stamps used in Thikanas :--
Thikanas were estate owned by the chief noble families of Mewar. In 1942, some 456 such estates existed, only 23 of which were first class thikanas.
Meaning of Thikanas -It is a rural Hindi word used in the particular Hindi belt. Thikanas means " Identified area of particular land " well known as a local District court.
