Mewar state is formerly Rajputana States Agency. now in Rajasthan State. area of state was 33,517 KM2 ,and population of state was 10,18,805 in 1901 and19,26,698 in 1931.(The population of state approximately double in 30 years ). Privy purse of state on the time of accession (7Th April1949 ) was Rs.10,00,000.Court fees stamps :--
